COPAL

The Copal ("Young Amber") is the fossilized resin of ancient trees, which, through a natural polymerization of the organic compounds becomes transparent. During the fall of the tree, and still fluid, it traps inside insects and plants, remaining there since thousands or at least hundreds of years ago. How old is this Colombian Copal? Actually there is no agreement between scientist, and that is out of our interest.
